Tour Overview
This six-day safari gives you the chance to see the “Big Five” and sleep in amazing accommodations. With Millenia Safaris you will be immersed in the unspoiled nature of real Africa, see wild animals up close, and take photos of the wonderful landscapes of Tanzania. This safari includes the assistance of a tour operator based in Arusha, full board, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of a 4×4 Jeep (with mineral water, power sockets, and binoculars).
DAY 1:ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA
A safari guide from our office will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for relaxation and your overnight stay. You’ll spend the evening preparing for your adventure the next day. You are welcome to explore the city with our guide for free.

DAY 2: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
You will have an early breakfast and then head to Tarangire National Park for a game drive, carrying a packed lunch. The world’s highest concentrations of elephants and bird species in breeding plumage can be found in this beautiful park. Wildlife is abundant in Tarangire National Park, particularly during the dry season. Large cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as the infrequently sighted Kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. Massive herds of gazelles, zebras, and wildebeests are drawn to the Tarangire River, where they are hunted by predators. You’ll make your way to the lodge later in the afternoon to spend the night and have dinner.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER
On this day, you’ll head toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Nearly 30000 animals, including the Big Five, are housed there. Zebras, buffaloes, lions, wildebeest, baboons, elephants, flamingos, ostriches, hippos, cheetahs, and the endangered black rhinos are all abundant in the crater. The crater appears almost surreal due to the stunning colors and moving clouds. The Ngorongoro Crater was selected as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders due to its breathtaking natural beauty.
You will make your way to the Lodge for dinner and the night in the late afternoon.

DAY 4: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Program: After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for game drives while carrying lunch boxes. After an extensive game drive and enjoying the park’s beautiful nature, we will transfer you to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and a considerable number of bird species, like flamingos, on the soda lake, Lake Manyara. Numerous colonies of baboons populate the forest and will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.

DAY 5: MAASAI BOMA CULTURE IN MTO WA MBU THEN DRIVE BACK TO ARUSHA
After breakfast at Eileen’s Tree Inn, you’ll journey to the vibrant village of Mto wa Mbu for an enriching Maasai cultural experience, where you’ll engage with the community, learn about their traditional customs, striking attire, and way of life that has remained deeply rooted for generations. This immersive visit offers a meaningful glimpse into the spirit and resilience of one of Tanzania’s most iconic tribes. Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive to Arusha, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
This will be your last day of your tour with us. After having breakfast/lunch you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure.
